A quick hike near Trail Creek Road

In the northwest foothills of the White Knob Mountains, near the Big Lost River and Trail Creek Road, there is a small unnamed peak with great views I’m nicknaming “Bady Peak” in this report. Its an easy hike from Bartlett Point Road, and offers up excellent views of the upper Big Lost River valley, and the Lost River Range to the northeast.

	I was on my way to other adventures, and made a quick stop to hike up this peak. I made my way up the dirt road from the north, and stopped at a pullout about a mile from the summit.
	The road made for quick hiking at first, and the final stretch up through low sagebrush.
	Soon enough, I crested the ridge below the false summit shown here.
	Unfortunately, it was quite smoky, else the views of Borah and the Lost Rivers would have been exceptional.
