A nice short hike outside of Denver

Genesee Mountain is located in Colorado’s Front Range, not far from Denver. More of a foothill by Colorado standards, it provides pleasant hiking on the trail system within Genesee Mountain Park.

	After a work trip in Denver, I parked at Bison Trailhead with plans of a quick loop hike including Genesee Mountain.
	The trail was nice easy hiking, and the snow had melted for the most part. Just a few patches left.
	Some good views along the way, this is looking into the Front Range.
	Here's the final stretch to the summit.
	I decided to hike cross-country from the summit, and made my way back down to the trailhead.
	Map of my route. Round trip was around 2 miles and 500' of elevation gain in 40 minutes of hiking.
