A nice hike on the edge of the Wasatch Range near Salt Lake City

View Benchmark is located on the edge of the central Wasatch Range, near Salt Lake City. This little peak offers a good short hike, year round. And as the name implies, it provides great views! My friend Matt has done this one dozens of times, and was kind enough to join me for quick hike while I was in the area on a work trip.

	After driving up through the subdivisions, here's the Deer Ridge Trailhead.
	The summit of View Benchmark comes into view.
	As expected, great views from the summit. That's Timpanogos in the clouds.
	It was good to catch up with my old friend Matt. Here we are on the summit.
